I had mold in my bedroom and contacted The Restoration Referee because they are a Westland Chamber of Commerce member. Mark came out to give me a quote and I was able to get on the schedule quick. They were extremely professional and completed the work in the amount of time they told me it would take to get done. Plus they repainted my bedroom in the color that I wanted, not white. I would highly recommend The Restoration Referee.

Mark and his team were referred to us by Allstate. We had water damage on the ceiling and in the kitchen as a result of an overflow valve not connected in the bathtub upstairs. Mark responded quickly and his team repaired the damage professionally and courteously. They responded quickly and once the area was dry the drywall was repaired, the plumbing was repaired and his response to all of my calls was quick, pleasant and efficient. I would definitely recommend Restoration Referee.
Came to give us a quote for insurance work. Spent time and walked him through the attic where there was water damage. Explained the urgency since we were selling our home, told us he would get in touch with our insurance agent right away. He never did. We tried calling multiple times and could not get a call back after numerous attempts. Left us in even more of a time cruch. Not professional at all.
The Referee came out and assessed my damage,he told me he would get back to me that evening. I never heard back from him and also called him three time's the next day.I would never recommend him to anyone,very unprofessional and truly not a good businessman.

I tried to give him 0 stars, but the system would not let me!!! Mark was by far the most incompetent, unprofessional, untrustworthy "business man" I have ever encountered and or worked with. A project that started in May and was supposed to have been completed in 6 weeks, took well over six months. He would lie about what was really going on, he would ignore phone calls and come to find out he was not paying his workers or contractors for the work that they had preformed already and spent the money he was giving by the insurance company, so he was unable to pay the workers to complete the project. Jwas then forced to take my personal money to pay for the reminder of the work to be finished. I would never have him step foot in my house again, nor would I recommend that anyone else who might consider using him, to think again and find another company.
We had them come out to clean our basement after a water accident and replace the main house flooring. They were quick and responsive to our need. Will definitely use again for any additional home upgrade. or repair
