Solid hole in the wall spot with excellent tamales. Highly recommend the chili cheese tamale! Not a lot of seating and it can get pretty warm inside so it's best to take em to go. They have about 6 different kinds of tamales, a few sides (green rice, black or pinto beans, salad) and combos options so there plenty to choose from.

I love eating here with my husband. We always order the shrimp cocktail, carnitas plate and fish ceviche. Fast service. Don't forget the tortilla chips nice and warm.
I love this place. I travel from Long Beach Ca , just to sink my teeth into these delicious tamales. Thumbs up to the cook and service is always fast. Tamales or always fresh. Love these guys.

The smell of tamales attracted me into this place. I liked the variety of tamale options offered here. I ordered the tamale bowl and was very satisfied. The black beans were so delicious. The tamale was nice and moist. Definitely coming back! Thanks!
Nice people, decent to excellent food. Teeny tiny hole in the wall sized. Limited seating. This is a place for a quick bite on the run or taking food to go. Definitely a very reasonable place to grab food; barely more than fast food; we don't have as many restaurants in DTLA as we used to.

Great little hole in the wall that makes some of the better tamales I've had. For under 10 you'll leave completely stuffed. Not much seating (just 2 small counters that fit maybe 4 people total) so most likely a takeout situation.
