Park 100 taught me a LOT, because it can put you under pressure & stress. The hours are long of course (10-12 hrs) & pays alright money. COMMUNICATION IS KEY, & that is sometimes very difficult to do in such a loud company, at least for me. It is very physical in most departments. Go in with a positive attitude, communicate others, & focus on your work & you'll be fine. BUT..things do break constantly, people do make mistakes, production can be chaotic, so be prepared for being moved around to different departments. People ignore rules & regulations there & make do with what they have, but I figure that's a lot of factory work in general. Management may occasionally tell you one thing yet do another..it happened with me quite a bit. There are not enough employees that actually stay, so they are always understaffed, putting a lot of pressure on everyone there. Everyone's experience is different. If you can stay there & adapt to everything there, you're a strong sob in my book. But everyone handles situations differently, & I wish everyone there the best of luck in whatever situation they're in. Personally I stayed there for over 2 years & am grateful for learning so much about myself & factory work in general. Wish the stress didn't affect me there. I feel that if I had not felt so stressed, I would have been a better employee. I TRIED. EDIT: I put in my 2 week's notice. I requested my vacation pay. A day later, I look at my work schedule & suddenly, someone had changed my schedule to make it look like I had had a vacation day on a work day that I'd already worked 10 hrs for. And suddenly, the day that I had already been scheduled to have off was marked as a vacation day. They didn't want to pay me all 60 hrs of my vacation & slipped those in my last week. Whoever manages the hours & scheduling is sneaky & that just confirmed that I made the right decision leaving. 2 years taught me a LOT, thanks.
