I rented a carpet cleaner from this location yesterday. I asked for 24 hours but today noticed that my invoice was for 4 hours. That was fixed when I returned the equipment. However I noticed an extra charge on my final invoice for equipment protection that I didn’t ask for. I called the store and spoke with someone who hesitated on whether or not this was required. He finally said that it’s a part that’s just skimmed over, but it’s not required. I did not ask for this protection and this wasn’t something that was just skimmed over, it was completely skipped over. I asked if this could be refunded and the guy I spoke with said he would try. He wasn’t able to remove it and wasn’t proactive on offering any kind of solution. We were just at a standstill on the phone. He finally offered to put me through to a manager but I didn’t have time to wait. Although it was only 3 extra it’s the principal of the matter. I wasn’t asked if I wanted this protection and I didn’t need it, but most of all I’m annoyed that this error cannot be fixed and I have to waste more than 3 of my time to get it corrected. I would not be as annoyed with this situation if the representative I spoke to had been more proactive with fixing it rather than me having to request everything before it was offered. I am very disappointed in Home Depot’s training in customer issue resolution.

Managers at This Location Lack People Skills!!! I was a victim of a Hit and Run by a drunk driver and this prolonged the return of a rented tree trimmer. I never used the tool yet I was still charged. 350 later!!! As a result, Ace will be my place! The place where People come First!!!! Not this huge box store!
