We've lived at this complex for 6 years and loved it. The neighbors are great! The office staff are friendly and get back to you quickly. The maintenance man was amazing! We just put in a request through the resident portal and he would be there within 24-48 hours depending on what our problem was. He always wore shoe coverings and was very friendly! We've accidentally locked ourselves out before and didn't have the key, on a weekend, and the on-call guy was super quick and got in to open the door to our apt within the hour (which was awesome b/c I had our baby with me). Grounds were beautiful and they took our bigger dog which was a huge plus! Very convenient to everything, super close to I-405. New mall was being developed when we left. Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, and Chipotle were all within 5 min drive! Very close to the hospital! Just a great location! Would've stayed but we had to move due to job changes.

The location is excellent, with easy access to the I-405 and places like Trader Joe's definitely being some of the highlights. The rooms themselves are a bit old, with thin walls and often-dated appliances. Our dishwasher is a relic and an appliance update would go a long ways towards bettering our experience. Additionally, it would help immensely if the main office was open on either Saturday or Sunday. For those of us who work standard Mon-Fri hours, it can be difficult/impossible to actually *MEET* with the administration (who are all very friendly) in order to retrieve packages or express concerns. Please, please consider moving the standard office hours to something like Mon-Thurs Sat/Sun.

Totem Lake Heights has been such a wonderful place for me and my family the last 4 years! We moved here from CA, site and unit unseen, but it’s been more than we could’ve hoped for! The community is so friendly! We’ve made friends with several people in the complex and see them on a regular basis. The grounds are so beautiful and green. It’s very park like with all the trees! The staff working in the office are always so helpful and friendly! Ren completes maintenance requests the day we submit them, and Sean and Jared are always great for answering any questions or handling any concerns. I can honestly say this is the best complex we’ve ever lived in! We will truly miss it when we leave!

Best apartment living I’ve found in the whole Seattle and East Side area. Won’t move until we decide to buy. Great rooms (not modern, but I don’t need that). And great grounds, with trees everywhere, a nice meandering street with good reserved and guest parking mix, backs up to the green belt and has a view of much of Totem Lake. Also, the staff, including Ren who is alway friendly and punctual, are great too. I looked for other potential places a few years ago, but couldn’t find anything that compared.

I'd LOVE to live here again! If I wasn't relocated to Kent for work, I would still live here. Small community. I trust the tenants and the management. It was a wonderful community for me, my husband and full-sized dog. Living next to a hospital is awesome for when the inevitable wind storms happen. You are protected by that and will likely not lose power. I 100% recommend this community. I haven't lived here in years, but reflecting on my previous apartment experience, this is the BEST I have had ever. Seriously.
