What a wonderful place. We went to celebrate a family birthday...so nice. We sat outside in a warmed little building. It was perfect. We could have been inside but this little private building was so special. Food was FANTASTIC!!! Wow...and the service! Tatiana! The. was her name and the owner Patty ch

I gave this restaurant 5 start before. Been there regularly. BUT hear me out. This time was not good. Our server didn't seems to set priorities. There were more than 4 tables empty but yet he decided he need to clean up the table that just left rather than take out order, not even drink order. I'm a server myself too so I alway be patient to another servers. This server was a host too so I understand he had so many task to manage. But how about when he took food order from a table next to us, he might as well, take our order too. But no, he went on to buzz an empty table. I also noticed, it also happened to another tables as well. He double sat 2 table at the same time but only stop by at 1 table for the order. And simply walk pass another table that got sat at the same time. Food here was always fresh and delicious. Not this time. My crab cake Benedict sauce was already started to separately. Showing that food was ready for a while.

I've been going to Tre Kronor for years... little has changed. This is a good thing. My Swedish friend enthusiastically brought me here years ago, telling me that this was one of the best brunch spots in the city. I've been back plenty of times since then, and I'm very excited every time I plan on going for brunch. I take my out of town friends here and they have become big fans, too! I love the authentic Swedish cuisine. Also, the outdoor area is beautiful.

I enjoyed it - it seemed like a familiar neighborhood hangout with a Swedish accent. Sorta like an old familiar uncle that shuffles over and tells dim stories of the Swedish land from which he came. Food pretty good..! The Scandinavian dishes we had were unique to us and fresh. Herring good, cold meatball open face sandwich - nice flavor but seemed slightly to be missing something...mayo maybe? Dunno.. Mushroom soup seemed hand crafted and super. Omelet and quiche just fine.. I'd go again...

Got take out that was amazing! Hubby got Swedish Meatballs, I got the baked brie appetizer and the broccoli cheddar quiche. Amazing and satisfying meals! True comfort food! I highly recommend Tre Kroner!!
