The only Shinto shrine in Washington State. Beautiful building located in a river. Staff is knowledgeable and fantastic. We made reservations ahead of time and had a gorgeous memorial event. The walk around the river area as well as the Tengu and other monuments in the forest are lovely.

Such a peaceful and beautiful place, small but I could easily just sit and appreciate the beauty and tranquility of the place.

It is amazing that this place exists where it does. It is small but very nice to check out. For those of us who it is relevant for you can purchase charms and lucky tokens from the temple shop for a reasonable price. The area by the river has a shrine and you can continue on a short trail that has more as well. Bring some coins.

Great shrine out in wilderness and by a river. It is located in Granite Falls. Very similar to the one in Japan. You can also get omamori lucky charms.

Small shrine but good environment. FYI, They will open the gate 10-4 pm or else you can’t enter.

Incredibly beautiful location, the wife and husband pair who run the shrine were very kind to a bunch of dumb gaijin who wrapped their yukata the wrong way. Incredibly beautiful ceremony, I'd like the excuse to go again!

Made a quick visit today. It was real quiet and peaceful compared to the times we visited on New Year's.
