George was great to work with - he's friendly, honest, and takes his work seriously. We were originally going to go with a large chain but after shopping around we found George, and much prefer to support a locally owned business over a nationally owned company. After the initial call he came out within a couple of days to do the estimate, brought samples, and explained the differences between my options. He also advised on what would work best for each room in our home. We were told that the order would take 5-8 weeks to arrive, due to the supplier being back ordered but the rollers were installed within a month. While he was doing the estimate, he let me know that a different customer backed out of rollers that would be perfect for two rooms that we weren't planning on getting done, as well as our kitchen. He threw those into the deal at a discounted rate - which we greatly appreciated. We still have a few windows to cover and will definitely be going back to George when the time is right. A very smooth process. We ordered roller shades for two 96" windows in our Az room. George explained everything, all the features, and said we could reuse the old valance from the verticals that were there. Although he gave us a 3-4 week turnaround time, they were ready in 2 weeks!! Installation was quick and efficient. We are 100% pleased with our shades and this company. We'll be ordering more as time goes by. Photo shows rolled up partially and down completely. this is the 5% rating so we still have a good view out. we felt the 3% was too dark but this is a personal choice only.
George was very friendly when we spoke on the phone. He didn’t offer an in-home consultation, but he offered to do an estimate over email. My fiancé measured all the windows in our home and I sent them to the email provided to me by Tucson Blinds & Shutters. I sent 2 follow up emails and never heard a response that was promised over the phone. It’s okay if you are busy at this time and cannot take me as a client, but what upset me was the lack of response to my emails. I wish he would have told me over the phone so I could have found someone else.
Jorge did a great job. Everything was done in a timely manner. All the products are top quality and Jorge didn't leave the job until everything was perfect. My wife and I couldn't be happier.

It was reassuring to know that he, as the owner, took full responsibility for all facets of the job - measurement, order placement, installation, and follow-up. Additionally, throughout the process, George was able to describe in detail the different product lines that might work best for us. We were able to keep samples to evaluate and insure the best selections. His able assistant, Greg, was there on installation making the whole process seamless and timely from start to finish.
