I've been using the VA health care system for about 12 years. Overall I've received very good care from them. Of course, no place is perfect, and I've heard some people complain about the VA. All I can say is the care is good, any issues are mainly about congress not giving the VA enough money to provide adequate staffing, which leads to longer wait times in some situations. The VA hospital here in Tucson is probably one of the best I've been in.

I was in ambulance with a bad head laceration. The Emt we're professional. VA went to be work immediately. All the tests, then 2 floor hospital where they treated me with so much kindness, particularly nurse Betty. Arranged for me a shuttle home in 104 degree temps when l was going to wait and take the 2hr bus home. Nurse Betty went Over and Above. Thank You VA Ross Gàines. Last is 1400
They have really good doctors here. The only thing I don't like is when you find a good doctor for a PC they move them somewhere else and you have to start a whole new relationship with another doctor that might not get what is going on with you or understand so they start all over instead of reading your chart to find out what has already been done.
