Great place to donate blood. All staff are nice and friendly. It's comfortable and you get to eat snacks and drinks after your donation. This is how blood donations go: First fill out the QuickPass Questionnaire before entering blood center. Show person at desk your ID drivers license, and QR code from QuickPass. Once done they will measure your temperature, blood pressure, blood iron levels, weight. Then they will prepare and start you for blood donation. Very easy and simple procedure. Blood donation lasts about 10 minutes, the entire process lasts about 30 min-1 hour. Stop by the Canteen for Juice and Cookies!

Giving blood is such a positive thing to do. It costs the donor nothing but some time and saves lives. The facilities and personnel at the Bloodworks Northwest location in Tukwila are very professional. Plus you get cookies after donating blood. Win-win!

Why no one at the front desk? They need to keep to appointment times better

Anyone living in the South end of Seattle wanting to help others by donating blood, this is the place to go. (Use Southcenter as a land mark). The atmosphere's is comfortable and professional. There's plenty of parking and it's wheelchair accessible too. O-Neg. blood donors are always needed and very much appreciated as well as all other types. I noticed there is a need for platelet donors posted. (Google for definition). If you're in good health go help someone in need. God bless you.
