This outfitter/lodge is OUTSTANDING. Great facilities, great service, the quality of their breakfast and shower house far exceeded our expectations. This is the perfect place to start and end an adventure in the BWCAW.

This is a great outfitter, they are glade to help and have everything ready to go. We had a great time.
We stayed in cabin 2 which is about three steps from Round Lake. There's a nice hiking trail right out the cabin door. Great rustic cabin that was very clean. There was a homemade loaf of raisin bread waiting for us. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be going back again!
Great service. Rented canoes a few weeks ago for our BWCA trip. Staff had a lot of knowledge of good fishing spots along our route, and even made sure to tell us about a portage that is mis-marked on most maps. They shuttled the canoes to entry point 50, just down the road. Free (& clean) showers when we got back. They even provided towels.
Great outfitters, Andy had deep knowledge of the water, campsites, and fishing.
