Great communication from Twiddy; house was fantastic. We had a little trouble getting the hot tub going and they sent someone right over. They got it fixed quickly. Fantastic week.

Friends and I took a much needed vacation recently to Corolla, NC. We were all blown away by the beauty of the home and, of course, the views of the beach. The home was clean, orderly and beautifully decorated. Upon arrival, there were pies for us, which were delicious. Half-way through the week a gentlemen came, added more water to the hot tub and even cleaned it, which we greatly appreciated considering we used it every day during our stay. Also, a few lights on the pool were not working properly so we reached out to Twiddy and they had someone come out to fix the issue immediately. The only doozy was the beds did not have their normal comforters on the bed as in the pictures, which I assume is a COVID related issue because blankets are easier to wash/maintain. Overall, a wonderful experience! My friends and I had a wonderful time and we hope to visit the area again.

The home was very clean upon arrival. It is a very spacious home, and met our family's needs. The beach access was quick and easy. We would love to stay in the home again.

We have been coming down to the Obx for years now I did it as a kid and now as an adult I still enjoy coming down there every year. We found the 4x4 section and we don’t stay any where other than that. I love seeing the horses and being right on the beach. Twiddy does an amazing job with everything! They are prompt with answering questions and concerns! Few tips I have is maybe a map of the house - where the breaker box is in the house, where the water heater is if something goes wrong, in this house it had directions about the water system which was helpful but not sure if this is in every house now? Last year we stayed in a house and didn’t remember seeing it! But also maybe a reminder not to feed the horses or walk on the dunes. The house next to us was throwing food off the balcony- which could be harmful to the wild horses that walk through the dunes. As well as they were walking over the dunes to get to the beach when there’s signs all over them not to walk on them. And maybe a list of places that deliver to the beach or that are in town so you can see what is in town to go get dinner one night. But also maybe include when they close. A lot of places close for the winter so it made finding dinner one night harder than normal but this was our first vacation in the off season. But I loved it and can’t wait to do it again!

This years experience was awful. Twiddy promoted superior “Covid cleaning” and it was the farthest possible from that. They never addressed any of the issues- a leaking toilet, showers that wouldn’t drain, damage to the entire property, dead bugs and cobwebs everywhere, mold in the showers and on vents, torn carpets, stains on curtains and furniture, broken bunk beds, missing bunk railings, decks and chairs covered in piles of dead bugs and mold, and a broken pool table that collapsed. We will never recommend this rental company again.
