After a few creative attempts, Ukuluke Musical Instruments was soon in operation of production and sale of instruments and accessories. In 2007, the shop moved out of the garage to a 4000 square foot space in Kansas City's historic West Bottoms industrial district. Construction is primarily done by hand, however the shop utilizes CNC (Computer Numerical Control) automation technology for select processes.
