The new owner was nice however the food is not quality. I ordered two rib platters the baked beans were burnt and the macaroni and cheese taste like it had sliced cheese just microwaved on top. I spent over 40 and did not eat my meal. This was a horrible experience for Super bowl Sunday! I will not be going back! Definitely not the same macaroni & cheese or baked beans I'm seeing in the google photos from a few months ago. Sad they have to do better!

Very comfortable outdoor seating area, which was perfect for me and a few of my friends. The food was incredibly tasty! It was also served in a timely manner. We will be coming back again for sure. I highly recommend the brisket platter with onions rings!

It seems under new ownership there is a significant decrease in portion size. Wings tasted different so did the cornbread. Was still good but overall disappointed that it was not the same experience as before.

I’m sorry to see that this place is closed for now. I’ve been so disappointed in DMV barbecue since moving from the south, and this was the best I’ve had yet. Every place seems to try to go over the top with unique recipes and additions, good BBQ should keep it simple. The patio and environment was super cute and comfortable, and the family were beyond friendly and accommodating. I didn’t expect to be actually “served” when I grabbed a seat after placing our window order. So so kind! I can’t wait to return and will keep an eye for them to re-open.

A friend told me to venture out to DC for some BBQ and never tried this place. So glad I did! Smoked meats here are just different. Sauces are rich, cuts are thick, and the smoker keeps the meats moist with plenty of flavor. My friends and I decided to order the pulled pork, brisket, pork ribs and the slow smoked wing with a side of fries, coleslaw and onion rings. The brisket had to be my favorite. It was so delicious and I found myself taking a break after each bite to enjoy it. The slides are no joke. The onion rings were fried perfectly and they made the coleslaw just the way I like it. Cold in temp, crispy cabbage and plenty of mayo. Highly recommend this location if you want some quality bbq. They take Covid seriously with ordering through the window and outside patio seating. Food made take some time to come out, but well worth the wait.
