I've been in communication with Rudy Vazquez, PE, Principal of Flex Engineering since this past October regarding a structural issue in our home. His firm was involved in the inspection of our home during the closing process of the home's purchase. Over the period of 2 weeks Mr. Vazquez finally said that he would come take a look at it and asked me when the best time would be. I gave him all of our information and told him that what ever time was most convenient for him would be fine as my schedule is flexible and I work from my home office. In the end Mr. Vazquez never showed up. The structural issue is seasonal. We have a section of floor that seems to heave in the winter, so we wanted him to see it before the first freeze. Each year it get a little worse. He has not returned numerous emails and phone calls. I guess we're going to have to find someone else despite the fact there may have been something they overlooked during the inspection.
