Have been using the Bishop Post Office since 1997. Sometimes, I stand in line and wonder how the clerks put up with some of the twits they serve. Calm, cool, collected, those clerks are and always polite. I also use UPS, but a lot of the time, ups.com is down because too many people are trying to process shipments before 3:00/3:30pm. Our local drivers and depot are awesome, but corporate UPS is not. Am thankful USPS is here. Knock on wood, never have had a package damaged in shipping such as has happened with UPS. Once shipped three paintings to a customer in Washington DC. Photographed the packaging, the label, everything. The paintings vanished without a trace using UPS, and were insured for full value. The paintings showed up back at my business a month later. No outer box. Still wrapped in all the internal packaging, so they were undamaged. USPS is sterling and we, the people, need to protect the postal employees and their union.

Rude and unhelpful staff. This very lady who’s name began with an A was extremely unhelpful when I asked if our Mail service was on hold. She said it wasn’t. I don’t believe she checked because I asked our post lady and she said it was on hold. Either way there was no reason to be rude and unprofessional. I was disappointed by this interaction. Avoid their customer service at all costs.
Always receive good service. Some of the previous reviews are very negative. Those reviews should move somewhere in the big cities. Our post office is small and sometimes gets busy with 8-10 customers at a time. The employees still manage to help the customers as courteously as they can. Customers should return the courtesy attitude as well. I always say “thank you” to others with courtesy.
I never had any problems with the service when I used to go into the Post Office. I have my mail delivered to my home in the Highlands Mobile Home Park and Santana is the best I have had for years. I like all the help that comes on his day off. I can buy my stamps and no longer need to go to the Post Office anymore. Everything is just wonderful.
I've had a box here for years. The employees should be commended for consistently doing a great job at keeping the lines short as well as being friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and in general on top of things!
