Dealing with this company was such a bad experience all around. The installation of the playground tiles was poorly executed: first, they installed a material over the drains that wouldn't allow rain water to seep through. We ended up having giant puddles on our play surface that would take several days to drain. You can imagine what health hazards this can bring to children. Secondly, their effort to affix one tile to another was a makeshift process, tiles were cut, patched and glued to fill in holes but the look was overall sloppy. This is not something one would anticipate for the cost they charge. In an effort to address our concerns, it was difficult to get someone on the phone for follow ups. After reaching out over the entire summer, someone finally came to take a look at our complaints. Having waited so long to hear back from the company, we actually had to remove some tiles ourselves and cut through the material that was blocking our drains so that the stagnant water could drain. When a representative from the company arrived, he came unprepared and kept asking our building superintendent for tools and supplies. He even suggested he would eyeball the work he needed to do because he came without a pencil. After an exchange of pictures, conversations and emails I find it extremely disconcerting and unprofessional to show up to fix a job without the proper tools and feel like you can satisfy the complaints by eyeballing what needs to get done. He ended up re-tiling over the drain surfaces and drilled holes to allow for proper drainage. We ultimately ended up having tiles that were aesthetically damaged from improper drainage and the representative dismissed this concern and told us to power-wash the tiles. The outcome of the job, along with all the aggravation and chaos, certainly did not warrant the hefty price tag it cost us. I would never recommend this company for any future jobs.
