Paid to overnight documents to passport office, that were required for a passport. Took 15 days to get the replacement documents from the State of Pennsylvania to begin with because Post office refuses to deliver mail to our home address and because our home address does not match the address of record for our cc Pennsylvania refuses to expedite / overnight replacement documents. Received the replacement from state on sat 10/03 and immediately sent it to passport office (priority mail express overnight garanteed 10/05 3:00 pm delivery) posted at 10:16 am 10/03 when we mailed it. At 3:00pm today the tracking still said it had left Orlando at 10:13pm Sat and that it was in transit. So I called, 30 minutes of the automated system telling me what I knew and that no customer service was available and pushing 0 about a hundred times the system finally put me in a que for a representative in 11 minutes it said. An hour later finally someone picked up, I gave them the tracking number and they said "please hold for a moment I need to check on this" 15 minutes later a different person answered with no clue, started the process again. To find out that they had no clue where the item is , what went wrong, whose fault it is , whether or not it will ever get there. After explaining the ramifications to them and demanding a cause and corrective action , got nothing. Maybe a call will come tomorrow they claim but, not likely. Refused to escalate the call , refused to take responsibility, no trace-ability, not responsive, unable to contact timely, I will be lucky if, but am doubtful that the money back guarantee will be worth the paper it is printed on. Guess I should not be surprised. Can not get them to deliver the mail here, why should I expect it delivered to homeland security passport office. To expect professional service is apparently too much to ask for even if you do pay for it , I guess.
I have always found the store to be efficient and helpful. They also have great cards not found at your drug store and other gifts. I go there often when the line at the main P.O. is loooooong.
First of all the young women at the front counter was very rude, I was unsure of what the restrictions were for mailing a cell phone. She talked to me like I was an idiot for asking a question! Then because I opened the box to show her what was in it I the box I then had to buy tape because it was no longer secure. All in all a horrible place to go for a post office, I will NEVER be going back.
I had my doctor in Oregon mail a prescription to me here in Green Valley so I could mail it to a mail order pharmacy using this post office. After a few weeks of not receiving my med I contacted the mail order who stated they never received it. My doc was not happy having to repeat the process and neither was I. I'll never go to that post office again.
