So i moved from grovetown with the military 7 months ago and the LAZY women there sent my final bill to collections versus CALLING or MAILING THE BILL. i tried to go in and pay it before i moved and they said no and that i had to wait for the cycle to end. I tried to log in to my account and it continued to say NO BALANCE! i checked for MONTHS. i even tried to call up there and NO CHARGES PENDING! i used to pay more than my bill in advance so i figured it was ok then i got a call from a collection agency (luckily i picked up because scam calls are more likely than bill collectors WHEN YOU PAY ALL YOUR BILLS IN ADVANCE). FIRE EVERYONE THERE!

I would like to point at that although their website lacks the information you can email all your forms in for new service instead of going in in person. And then pay the new service fee over the phone. Still very dated but much more convenient then going in in person.
Grovetown turned off our water last night with no notice whatsoever. We called repeatedly for them to keep telling us we are irresponsible adults that didn’t pay their bill and stuck by that each time we called. The emergency number wanted to send a fire truck and said that’s all they could do. I go there today with the receipt of payment and the bank statement showing the payment and they literally said “oops sorry our system must’ve missed it!”. They were extremely rude on the phone and sounded surprised we were upset because we had our water shut off out of nowhere. No notice. We have never been late on a payment. We are looking into formal complaint options as it is illegal to shut off water without a notice. Their already subpar service is only going to get worse after they get slammed with fees to compensate the residents they are screwing over.
All of the bad reviews had me worried but when I called to set up service the lady I spoke with was super nice and helpful and they said I could set up everything online and have water turned on by the next day, which goes against a couple of the bad reviews but maybe they changed their policies since then. Hopeful that everything goes as smooth as they say.
This company needs to get its systems at least for billing and paying bills up to the 21st century. They can and won’t setup automatic payments.
