I had an interview with this place. I really liked the position they were offering. I had been looking for full time work for some time and though it didn’t fully meet my pay requirements, the job duties were something new and I was exited to learn. After my interview, I received a call that Thursday, stating they would like to offer me the position and I start on Monday. During the time of my search I’d been helping out a restaurant until I found a full time job. I let the restaurant know I was offered a position and I was not going to be coming in. (Which was ok, I was extra help) That Sunday I get a call saying they are having a “roll out” with a new system update and did not want to set me up to fail. They would call me back with a new start date. Days and days go by, I was reaching out to show I still wanted the position, but no update. Three weeks after I was supposed to start I reached out again and was told now they are tied up in a pay roll update and are hiring for a new position in the production floor. I’ve never been this furious with a company. I was lead on, and screwed over. I quit my job. I put other offeres on the back burner all to be played. HUGE WASTE OF TIME AND SINCERELY UNPROFESSIONAL.
