Events, Events, Events! I love this location for outdoor events that want to get away from the norm or the crowds. I've visited this location for mud runs, car shows, swap meets, and cross-country events. There's never a problem with parking or space. You can setup customized areas and let the good times roll. The actual Bates Nut Farm store is great and filled with custom trinkets, candies, snacks and of course nuts. The biggest down fall to the location is the need to pack food or provide a food service since the Bates Nut Farm Store doesn't provide full meals.

Great place for kids and adults both the farm animals are great to see and feed and the store had great deals would go back.

This place is always dependable for a nice time. Tried a pumpkin patch closer to home, and not only was it over priced, but it wasn't close to worth it. Came out here the next day, satisfied kids, satisfied parents. Always fair prices for the good old pumpkin patch fun. Pony rides, small petting corral with good social distancing rules, and you can't find more perfect pumpkins for only 7 each. Everyone needs to experience Bates!!

What a fun place to go during the autumn for families and couples alike. It's best to go early in the season and in the morning if you can to beat the crowds if you're looking for the perfect pumpkin and to avoid lines for the pony rides or train ride. You can also feed the animals on the farm (food can be purchased for 25 cents in the old gumball machines or you can go in the store). The Bates store in the back is great for stocking up on some delicious treats for the season. Also, a nice place to have a picnic and enjoy being out in the outdoors (there are socially distanced tables).

We love bates. The store always has great finds and the kiddos love feeding the animals. Everyone is always so nice too and they hold great events from car shows to Christmas visits with Santa.
