Working with Kalven has made me a more educated student. I have more pride in all my school work and even a little social skills. There is no doubt that my grades have improved since working with Kalven. More importantly, he establishes and continuously reinforces confidence and a drive to succeed in every student he works with. Kalven is genuine in that he has a huge smile when his students are working hard to reach their full potential. His rates and guaranteed success are unbeatable. With the perfect balance of discipline and fun, there is never a time when I'm not looking forward to my next lesson.
After years of tutoring, I can really see an improvement in my school experience. Not only am I ahead of the curriculum, but I actually enjoy and am motivated to do better in school. Although we go at the rate we feel comfortable with, he does the right amount of pushing to put us out of our comfort zones and makes us better.
