Was lead to believe I would be seeing several quality candidates with similar interests - until I paid them. I've been a professional job recruiter for many years. I know a thorough screening process when I see one, and it's not here. They try to get you to agree to random dates without seeing any profile photos. When you request a photo, they may have one head shot to offer at best. They would call to present a candidate and tell me they found a great match, "they like wine, live music, and the outdoors". That would be the extent of their matching criteria. For 4,500 I expect more than that. They just try to get you to agree to random dates, hoping something will click. I paid them so I could stop going on random dates and find gals with similar interests & beliefs other than wine and music. If you're looking for a thorough screening process, go somewhere else! If you're looking for random dates and don't care about physical attraction, like beliefs and interests, these are the guys.

Horrible experience. Definitely a waste of your money. Matchmakers do not care to match you with your profile they are too busy trying to get dates for their other clients. Inappropriate matches count as your declines. Don’t waste your money. Ashley matchmaker rude and unprofessional. Jake Matchmaker pretended to present dates marking as has declined.
To It's Just Lunch ! I'll like to start by saying thanks . Sometimes people go through life not giving a chance to someone else who might be there next King or Queen . Your platform gives them a chance to do just that. We share the same coming golden opportunity in life. But we've allowed ourselves to be trapped in a bubble . What you do may have helped people to meet other people with different background and different nationalities . We all want to be loved and to be loved by someone. If finding love over lunch is right then I want to be right. Thanks for all that helps with what they do and Mel to. More lunch is giving more love is accepted .
Joining a service like It’s Just Lunch hinges on the matchmaker. And if you want the best, I give you Jake. Jake is thorough, earnest and effective. He hears viscerally, is warm and positive and a great researcher. He gets who you are and want - and he does a great job finding her. Jake is a master at follow up and guides you through the feedback from your dates. The search seldom ends on the first one, and Jake goes right back to work to find another who fits your criteria. Jake doesn’t just do his job. He loves it. His dedication and work ethic gives all his clients a better chance at love.
I have really been enjoying my experience with Just Lunch. I'm working with the NC team. My matchmaker is Mel and she has been great. She really listened to what I was looking for in a partner. She also very patiently answered all my questions about the process and I had a lot. I will say, this service is not cheap. However, a meaningful relationship is important to me, so I made the choice to invest in a service that facilitates that and I've not been disappointed so far.
My experience with It's Just Lunch has been great! Mel and more recently Heidi have introduced me to a number of very attractive ladies who have proven to be compatible with me. Clearly, Mel and Heidi are skilled interviewers and "match makers". In addition, they're pleasant - no, make that fun, to interact with!
I would like to comment on Mel with IJL. She is truly a pleasure to work with and her voice even has a happy smile in it! I give her bonus stars for her accessibility. I can email Mel or leave her a message that I am certain will be returned at her earliest convenience usually that day or the next, by Mel personally and not another matchmaker who is unfamiliar with me. I had a match cancel fairly late for a date the evening of, and Mel so graciously gifted me a gift card with her sincere apology for any inconvenience to me. She is a caring professional and knowledgeable in her field. I look forward to receiving her date selections and I am always excited to see her phone number pop up! Be careful not to drop your phone in the excitement of it all! I am comfortable with her selection process, she sends the photograph only, by email but personally calls and answers any of my questions regarding my potential match. I take as much time as I need, absolutely no pressure from her to decide if I would like to move forward. Mel with IJL gives the personal touch that makes me feel special.
Udonna and Tameka are excellent to work with. I have had 2 great dates so far. They listen to my preferences and do their best to find that someone I am looking for and in my preferred locations. I have enjoyed my experience thus far.
