Everyone is amazing there. They really care about the children. They do however need to deal with bully's in a better fashion. Nothing was done or resolved. Other than that they have excellent family nights/days, days you can visit your child. Eating with your child. They are top of pick up as well. Excellent caring school.

Mr. Groogle has targeted multiple children at his school. My child has reported that he has called her and her friends disgusting, animals, big mouths, and has wrongfully accused a student of drug abuse. He has called my daughter a bad influence for her friend and has threatened for him to call the police on her for standing across the street from the school. She knows the people who live across the street from there and would have had the police called for visiting friends. He has cussed at my daughter resulting in her cussing back at him. He told my daughter's friend that he expelled my daughter, he expelled my daughter's friend and now he's waiting for their friend to get expelled. This doesn't seem like a good place.

Hi, I'm a former student at this school. In my first years hear it was very good, good teachers, good curriculum, and good environment. But in the past 2 years, it has been falling apart. Especially in the middle school area of the school, all the excellent teachers have left the school, one was fired. When they fired him, multiple kids were crying because he had helped so many students, academically and socially. There are now bad, biased teachers all around the school. They have also not been putting enough money into the school, when it comes to new technology, or even structural upgrades. There is paint chipping off the walls, even old gum stuck in the carpet. They have something called Student Government, but the school doesn't encourage the group to do anything, so they dont do anything. The staff doesn't, especially the principal, doesn't show that they care about this school. The principal doesn't care, there is no care, no one cares, about the school, the students, only there jobs. Plus, they have this no homework policy, which you and your kids might think it's a good idea, but it is not. Especially in middle school it does not prepare you for high school. In high school you have at least an hour of homework. At Vanderbilt, you have none, it's a HUGE adjustment. And I personally struggled coming from Vanderbilt, to high school. Recommendation, dont enroll in this school. -Former Student

Vanderbilt is a really good school, I've been in the school since kindergarten. You learn a lot of things and get a good education. You'll be high school ready after 8th grade. The teachers are really nice and very helpful when you need it. The staff is just wonderful!

Was called and told I was to leave my full time job and pick up my kindergartener, right now, as he is suspended, and it seemed expelled. When I came there the principal wouldn't even come out, Jeff Groggel, instead Jason talked to me, whom we really appreciate, the secretary was nice as well and most everyone else seems to be there also. This Jeff guy needs to go. What an unprofessional excuse of a \leader\. Who expels a 6 year old instead of doing their job???
