If your interested in making an appointment for the exam you’ll have better luck reaching the Pearland location to make an appointment here. Also I finished taking my vehicle inspection exam. Completely failed and it’s a 50 question exam your only able to miss 10. Most of the questions coming off the chapter four inspection procedures. A fair amount of the questions you have to memorize year models. Plenty of people have to take the exam 2 or 3 times.

It's an absolute nightmare trying to schedule an appointment for the inspector exam. Make sure you arrive well before your scheduled time because they'll be sure to deny you entry and require another application if you're late. You'll also be out another month or two.
this place never answers. ive being trying to set up my acct on a different station to be able to perform state inspections. as of now it seems like it might take years to get someone to help me out. i keep getting referred to this number but no luck on someone picking up. asks to leave a voice mail with a contact number to get a call back. wich till now i do not receive. worst place to get help from

This facility is no different than your stereotypical government office. I manage a shop that does state inspections. Have had the unfortunate requirement of doing business with them due to the fact that they are the closest place to offer inspector school. The guy who teaches the class is... alright. He definitely makes it obvious that he's got a bit of a God complex. But the people that answer the phones (if they answer the phones) are beyond rude. Rude would be an upgrade. I have dedicated 2 cumulative hours to calling to ask a simple scheduling question using 2 phones at the same time on 2 separate days and the phone just keeps ringing. As I write this blunt but honest review, I have my shop phone and my cell phone calling these guys but still no answer. But to expect anything else from these guys is \pie in the sky\. Sometimes you just have to deal with people that are terrible and nasty.
