Out table's placement was really excellent at first. We were able to see almost everything from where we were seated. But at the end of our meal, the placement was not that great because of the sunlight being reflected by an adjacent building. We had to leave early because of this! The staff was great by the way. But the food I ate was not that good, neither was it that bad. My overall experience was good.

Vera Mae’s Bistro is located in downtown Muncie Indiana. This elegant restaurant has in-door and out-door seating. Walk-ins are welcome but making a reservation will help with making sure you get a table. They offer off site catering and provide for group events at the restaurant. I am a local and have been eating here for years now and my taste buds never get bored. They have daily specials so be sure to ask what they are. I recommend the “French Onion ” (picture shown) for starters. For the entree the “Porterhouse PorkChop” (picture shown) with which ever vegetable and starch they are serving for the day will be sure to please your palate. For dessert the “Bread Pudding” (picture shown) is a must. The bar is also a must when visiting this very fine establishment. The drinks are hands down the best in a million miles! I recommend the French Martini (picture shown). The owners and the staff are fabulous so be sure to introduce yourself!
