Over the last two or three years, VTel has steadily dropped in quality. The price has gone up (particularly those annoying nickle-and-dime fees), offerings have been taken away, and service has gone down. In spite of promoting speeds of up to 1,000 Mbps, the system seldom reaches above 50. Recently, I have asked the same question several times and have not received so much as a polite acknowledgment that I contacted them: I've been completely ignored. VTel has become just another Comcast and that fact cannot be overridden by a free Thanksgiving dinner.

I have called twice voicing I have not received a bill since I’ve started my services. I’ve checked to make sure that it was not going to my spam and we’ve confirmed that they have the correct email for me. I’m behind in a Payment and another to come and I’ve tried paying my bill over the phone but I don’t even have my Account number to make that happen and there isn’t another option for me to use to pay over the phone. I just want to pay my bill!

I’ve had vtel internet for the past two years and can honestly say it is the worst internet I have ever had in my life. Customer service is rude and the internet cuts out multiple times daily. I am a professional in our community and due to covid have had to transfer to remote work and it has been an hourly struggle to have meetings with people and provide the support needed to the individuals I work with. The company has repeatedly told me it must be something I am doing on my end that disrupts the service and have never offered “a free month” as their waiting recording so cheerily assured you. I’ve been working since covid began with them trying to find some resolution but all I’ve found is spend more money and blindly trust we will provide you the best service you’ve had sort of message. All very disappointing for a Vermont based company. I believe that because they know in rural areas it’s the only option we have they are able to ignore the terrible service and carry on with collecting an exorbitant amount of money monthly. Very disappointing.

Barely ever works. I would be willing to bet we have 50 hours on the line with CS and it still drops 5-50 times a day (not exaggerated on a bad day)
