The driving best school in VA: professional and friendly instructors and nice, comfortable place. Instructor Mike, in my opinion, is the best and made it very easy and fun to go through the course. If you have a driving ticket, reckless driving records - school professionals will answer all your questions, they will be able to recommend you a local lawyer or how to prepare to go to the court alone! They will listen to your case and give the best advise how to handle it! My case was: first reckless driving (92/55mph) thanks to the school courses and my lawyer it was reduced to a speeding ticket.

Very good driving school. I got a letter from the DMV after a moving violation requiring me to take an 8 hour course and after looking for a few hours, this one offered the most availability. Their website is clean and concise and they allow you to register on the same day as the class which can be a lifesaver if you have a deadline to meet. The class was kept interesting and even though nobody wanted to be there it wasn't even a bad experience. I had Mike as my instructor and he was wonderful. He spoke with prowess and never in a monotone voice, which was incredibly helpful to keep everyone awake. Adding humor into the mix kept everyone interested as well. Overall, for a class I didn't want to take, AA Driving Academy did a pretty great job. I normally wouldn't leave a review for somewhere like this, but when looking for places I noticed that nobody had left any reviews in the past 4 years and it sketched me out. I want to make sure everyone interested can feel confident knowing they registered to a very solid class. As a final note, they can send information of your completion to the DMV within 2 days which can help save you the trip. Thanks again to this place for offering such flexibility with classes. I'll be recommending it to any of my friends who have driving infractions, and I included a (very) edited picture of my certificate to show proof that I did take the class and that I'm not being paid or an employee, haha.
Kinda in a weird place but super good quality and honestly not that boring even though it was 8 hours! You’re lucky if you get James Moore for your instructor but i’m sure all of them are great
The instructor, Mike, was very good. I attended the 8 hour Drivers Improvement Program to help a friend translate since he did not understand English. I learned several new things from the instructor. The person I was with had gotten a ticket for reckless driving and was required to go to court. AA Driving Academy offered several good tips on how to prepare for the court case. The test was pretty straightforward as long as you listened to the instructor.
Very fun class. It made my dmv 8 hour class bearable and very straight forward. I learned some knowledge I can really apply to real world driving. If you need to take the 8hr course or want some extra knowledge I recommend
