I worked in a botanical garden and this place is fantastic! We visited in October so there were not a lot of flowers in bloom but it was still worth the visit. Walking in you are greeted with a beautiful fairy garden. Lots of variety in this area. The Korean themed area was an unexpected surprise and lovely space. The gazebo out on lake provided excellent views of the rest of the garden. The other water areas are very interesting as well. I would absolutely have a membership to this garden if I lived anywhere close to the D.C. area. I can't give a strong enough recommendation for the Meadowlark Botanical Garden.

Beautiful place to go for a walk any time of the year. Flowers in late Spring, greenery through the Summer, Fall colors, and holiday lights through the late Fall/Winter. Plenty of free parking. A few dollars to get in. Paved trails to walk around the park. Benches scattered around for breaks. The Korean Bell Garden is cool. You can see geese, ducks, and fish in the ponds. Enough open space to get some sun and enjoy the views, a rarity in this area.

We went to Meadowlark for the Christmas lights and it was a wonderful experience (even during Covid!). You must have a ticket at an assigned time (18 a piece) but then once you’re inside, you can walk at your own pace...thus allowing for you to be safely distanced from other people. It took about an hour to walk through and everyone wore masks the whole time. The lights are awesome and great for cute holiday pics. I would recommend both for families and couples. This was my first time going and I can’t wait to go back next year!

Went for the light show which was definitely worth the money. Nice little easy to follow trail easy for kids and older people alike. Drinks and snacks if you want them. Check it out!!

Lovely gardens in season with a really nice winter lights display. Been a lifetime member for years and it has slowly added delightful areas over time making it such a pleasant place to visit.
