Found some amazing pieces and had a great time talking to the ladies running the store :) love the owl motifs! I though the prices were really reasonable and they had some great selections and organization.

I hate to do this but the people who work/ volunteer here are so rude. I pop in occasionally hoping that will change, sadly so far its a no.

I have to laugh at the reviews below that say the stuff at Pennywise is overpriced. That is soooo not true. I guess they haven't shopped at the thrift stores down the street. You can find great stuff that is super low priced. Lots of deals on household items and clothing if you're willing to look for them. The clothes prices run from 1.00 and up and most average tops and pants are around 4 or 5 dollars. They have 1/2 price sales every day on certain items which brings the cost WAY down. Pennywise is a gem of thrift stores. It is run by Holy Comforter Church and everyone who works there is a volunteer. The staff is super nice and will help if they can but some people only work once a month. They also have consignment which is great if you'd like to get a little back.
The staff here are super nice, friendly, and helpful! The thrift store is also pretty well organized, and the items they sell are in good condition (can sometimes also find brand new unused items that people have donated). If you're a younger person, clothes and items you'd be interested in are sort of hit and miss. All of the really awesome purchases go very quickly. The other reviewers said the thrift store is overpriced, but I really think the prices are fair for the items. Especially considering they don't take in junk. There are other \designer\ thrift shops that are definitely more expensive than this place. Oh yeah, cute little side-note - they have this thing about collecting owl nick-knacks. I guess it's their mascot. :]
