We went here off season and only 3 other persons were here. It was so peaceful and beautiful here. A real retreat! The beach was super clean, some seagulls and crabs were there. The road to the off season parking spot is a little adventure, but totally worth it. But make sure you don’t take your Sedan, you will need a Truck, it’s more comfy. We will definitely come back next year

Long Point wildlife reserve is a beautiful place and I have been coming to this beach with my family for over 20 years. Over the years, the Trustees, have added more staff, more cute signs, and more restrictions. The more they try to manage the beach going experience, the more frustrating it has become to go to Long Point. They should focus on keeping the beach clean, and closing the beach when the maximum number of cars is reached. Thankfully we have found other beaches that are more welcoming.

Wasn't expecting the miles of single lane dirt road to get there. Once there, the walk past the pond and beach was a good exercise, but question if it was worth bottoming out the vehicle to get there.

Long point wildlife is a very beautiful place to go it is a beach with a big waves and a pond where some people do kayaking .To enter on this beach and pond you must be a member .The only thing I dont like is the seagull poop all over the sand which you put your towels the pond which kids usually swim and play have many little curious fishes Some of the fishes in the pond nibles your legs which is very tickling and sometimes it suprise you .

Another public beach is always welcoming to each summer. I like that there are extra uniformed young staff who assist visitors! We arrived in time for no swimming because of shark sightings. And they gave us the choice to stay or go. Price was something like 10 per vehicle, 15 per person and less for kids, and generally lower priced for members supporting the refuge. It's a great stretch of off-white sand beach with clearly visible signs. There is a pond nearby as another option for swimming. The drive into the beach from the main road is a dirt road with curves and bumps and lush flora and trees, and so it is satisfyingly private and distanced from traffic noise. Bring your own beach stuff! No kiosks here for provisions. Great fod quiet sunbathing, reading. Tons of space for volleyball, frisbees.
