In my experiences with this store, I've found it to have a neat (but horribly organized- there's no sign of records ever having been alphabetized or sorted) and large selection of very clean used and new records. They also offer a variety of higher end equipment and supplies. I prefer to support local record stores, however prices here are often above list and far higher than other local shops. The owner of the store is generally amicable, but his staff is rude, pretentious, and massively unhelpful. It's an interesting shop and worth a look, but not worth the price.

I dropped my antique record player off to be repaired. They seemed very interested in the amplified tube. Said it was a valuable tube. They told me it would be a few weeks before I would hear back. After 3 months I called only to find out they hadn't even looked at it! They finally looked at it and told me the puck needed replaced but they would have to ship it out of town to have that done. Cost 135. I agreed to let them do that. Two more months went by and after several calls they finally told me it was ready. When I went to pick it up they told me there was another problem and it would be another 100 too 150 to fix. I told them to forget it. I believe they took the amplified tube out and replaced it with a less valuable part that doesn't work. The problem I had seemed fixed but there was a different problem that wasn't previously there. It will occasionally play part of a song but sounds totally different. They either damaged it or cherry picked the valuable parts. UPDATE: The 135 was the price to ship it to the east coast! DON'T TRUST THESE GUYS!! They then tried to squeeze another 100 to 150 out of me.

Super snobby!! This store has some good records just like the other ones do, but the employees are consistently rude, and arrogant. Their quality is subject to the same limitations as any other used store, so I disagree with the reviewer who claims that they somehow have better quality used records. Frankly, I've been amazed at some of the inexpensive records I've found at the used book stores. The difference is that these guys "know" what they have, so they want to try and squeeze every penny out of their records. I believe that the reviwer may be an owner or employee trying to justify the high prices! I actually go to this store as a last resort, because I know that they will be the highest priced, and the rudest to deal with. I'll still shop there though, because who knows what they'll get in because some poor uneducated person sells his valuable records to them for pennies on the dollar...!
