First impression of the shop was good. Restaurant looked clean and smelled like good food. The cashier was super sweet and made sure the order was correct. The food was a disappointment. Poor quality. Shrimp rice tasted like dish water. My shrimp po-boy was made with the cheapest bread I’ve seen, mayo tasted funny. Food reminded me of Timmy Chan’s. Cheap and good to fill you if you were a starving student. I expected the place to be black owned because of the name but I strongly believe it’s Asian owned. So one star because the food is trash. I wasted on my money.

This was my first time here I got an oyster poboy and crawfish pie because I had never had a crawfish pie before. But overall it was really good the poboy was good they have the big shot soda. I ordered inside and it took about 10 min not a bad wait at all. Everyone was ordering the wings and voodoo rice ima try that next time.

I was in the area for lunch and stopped by and I'm glad I did! the staff was very helpful as it was my first time and took the time to go through the menu with me! The food was fantastic and place is well kept! Will be back

I called my order in, as I'm on a quick lunch break. Started eating and found the chicken wings bloody! I returned to the store and informed them. The lady at first said it was the seasoning they use. After I physically pointed out that it wasn't cooked properly, she asked to remake my order, in which I didn't have time for. Then she offered a free meal the next time I come in, but that'll be NEVER again! Furthermore, 8.11 is really a lot for 3 tiny chicken wings (with the tip full of feathers) not mention improperly cooked and the rice with huge chunks of onion chopped in it. They should have given my money back, but they never offered that. The lady was friendly, but not helpful. Now I'm starving bc I didn't have time to go elsewhere for lunch after dealing with this place!!

It's very close to home I mean New Orleans. But I can't complain I enjoyed the sandwich. I only needed a Barq root beer to top it off.

This is my first time trying you guys and I must say I was very disappointed. A friend of mines tried you all and her chicken wings and rice platter was full of rice and I decided I will try you all out. I ordered chicken voodoo rice with 10 wings platter but I didn’t have that much rice at all, it was bare. When arriving the front desk asked if it was my first time, I told her yes... so I would assume that they would do their best to meet my expectations but this was not the case. I also ordered a large shrimp poboy. Besides that, the food was good.

The catfish, voodoo rice & crawfish pie were good! The chicken wings were not as expected.
