Incorporated in 1975, Laketown Electric has been serving the Southern half of Minnesota for over 45 years. In August of 2018, we purchased Javens Electric of Mankato, a company that specializes in industrial automation, industrial wiring, high voltage, low voltage and fiber work. LEC is a contractor that specializes in design/build construction complete with engineering capabilities in house. Our favorite projects are healthcare projects including surgery centers, clinics and hospital construction, manufacturing/food plant projects and large, high end commercial projects. We are optimistic about the future and intend to grow our business as well as our relationships with our customers. Seventy-five percent of our projects are performed under a design-build basis. As of 2.1.2020 we have 120+ full time employees and perform work within two hours of the Twin Cities Metro area and throughout Southern MN. We also cover MN and the surrounding states. Typical project sizes range between $100,000-$5 million in electrical scope with a large bonding capacity.

Octane Martell

I've encountered a van belonging to this company twice in the last two weeks doing at least 80 miles an hour, cutting 2 lanes of traffic in a 60 mph zone at 5:45 in the morning. Completely unnecessary, unsafe and uncalled for.
