Super friendly staff doing their best during tough times. The resort is probably around 50-60 % occupancy but the pool, tennis courts and ocean grill are all functional. The ladies at the ocean club are simply the best. You can see beatiful sunsets here in the evening. We were lucky to see a whale during sunset making splashes in the water. My only issue which has nothing to do with Halii kai is the lackadaisical approach in the island to mask wearing although mandatory. 50% of visitors don't have masks on or pulled under their noses.

We had an absolutely great start at Halii Kai 16C. The staff on site is extremely kind and helpful. The pool area has a community grill and indoor workout area. Food and drinks are also great. The sunsets every night are great. Didn't play golf but the course looked impeccable and reasonably priced.
Not a very family friendly community. Filled with a bunch of old grumpy people who make guest feel unwelcome. Many rules at the pool (no personal water bottles, snacks). Condos are decent and nice area but you must drive to all beaches. Stay somewhere else.
Beautiful condo. Very spacious 2 bedroom. In the heart of Waikoloa. Golf course and beach walking trails close by. Nice pool area.
Great resort! We found 4G on AirBnB and loved staying there. The pool is super nice and the food and drinks down there are delicious. The pool is meant to be a calm area, which is really nice if you’re just looking to relax. The athletic center is also nice. All the staff is super kind and had no issues the entire week. Would stay again for sure.
Magnificent condos in a gated community! We stayed in a beautiful 3 bedroom that felt gigantic and luxurious. Water and golf course view. Resort style pool & hot tub had different areas to play or relax. Restaurant/bar by the pool was excellent. Condo was stocked with movies, books, beach toys & kitchen supplies, making our vacation a dream. Staff gave us a late check out, no charge. Close to shopping, market, beaches. Sunshine every day!
Our family of 5 had excellent stay in 18B. This place was our home away from home during our vacation time. Place was clean, kitchen had everything we needed to cook and bake, even containers to pack for our day trips, all beach related stuffs including snorkeling sets, dishwasher, laundry and dryer. Our stay was excellent and we didn't worry about anything. All we had to do was buy groceries. Pool area was great with hot tub. Closer to stores as well.
A really nice and affordable condo. Not exactly walking distance to the beach (as some one close said) but it is a lot closer than Denver is. Very clean apartment and grounds.
