Great park for night walks. Very well lighted. Access to walk the Narrows Bridge
like
Nice little green space that leads to the sidewalk along the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. There is plenty of parking at the park n ride at the other end. The park itself is a great tribute to fallen veterans in the major wars, and locally built or dedicated ships.

Thank you Tacoma for the amazing tribute to those amazing men that gave everything for their country. The United states and its people should have a place to remember and show tribute to the true heroes of our freedom. Thank you to all those that sacrifice for me and my family to live free.
The Park isn't the best maintained, but there are lists of the Men and Women of Pirece County that were awarded the Medal of Honor or died fighting for our country. Additionally it is one of the parks where you can go and walk across the Narrows Bridge, a great walk with beautiful views.
