Our experience at Husky Works Mushing Company was simply amazing! Laura and her family’s 33 dogs did a great job making sure we were safe, comfortable, and most of all, had a great time. When bad weather meant we couldn’t mush on our initial date, they worked tirelessly to be available later the same weekend. Mushing was a great experience that neither of us had ever had before, and the novelty and fun paired with the deep knowledge provided by the mushers made it unforgettable. We recommend highly Husky Works to anyone looking for something unique, and maybe you get lucky and hear all the dogs sing!
Absolutely loved this experience! Laura shared a wealth of knowledge about the dogs and mushing before we started. The dogs are clearly treated like family. Loved that her sons work hard alongside her to clean up and get the dogs ready, too. The dogs' energy and love of leading us was contagious. It was an amazing experience to spend an hour snuggled in the sleigh with my 6 year olds and take in the beautiful landscape surrounding us!
I had the time of my life!! Laura, Jeremy and the boys made sure this experience was the best! I truly enjoyed getting to know the dogs and the history of the area. Their property with the overlook and cabin is just stunning! This wonderful family and their dogs made my vacation to Vermont unforgettable!!
Had an amazing time learning about the Huskies and dog sledding. Jeremy and Laura were great and their sons were amazing as well. It was super fun and recommend anyone to book a reservation with them!
Incredible experience!! The owners are super and the ride is breathtaking. If your looking for a boring sled ride in an open field doing circles this is not it. This ride takes you up a mountain with beautiful views. You will learn about the sled, the equipment and the care of the dogs. I would recommend this tour for everyone and will definitely be back.
We absolutely loved our husky tour with Laura and Jeremy! It was more than we even hoped for. We learned about the dogs and had an overview of mushing which was fascinating. The ride was spectacular. The personalities of the dogs were entertaining, the trails and views were beautiful and the ride was comfortable, warm and fun. I did not feel worried once, and it was a joy to watch the team run and do their thing! We were able to pet and meet with the dogs after the experience and were even able to learn how to release them from the sled and had the chance to take each one off. I loved hearing all of the dogs howling as the team was chosen and others begged to come, and then hearing and seeing the greeting from them once we returned. Such an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend! ️
A really amazing experience. The dogs have so much energy, it's contagious. They love to run and it's so much fun to see them go. We got a very informative tour of the kennel and sled and then my kids were off like a bolt.
