I just wanted to say thank you to the man that helped me today, I didn't catch his name but he was a huge help. Every time I come in there you guys surprise me with your knowledge and know how and for that I give you 4 stars. (It would have been 5 but sometimes you're a little pricey) Keep up the good work!

Our family is building a waterfront home here and we stopped in to inquire about a few things as we needed a local store to purchase all of our materials. We try to support family owned businesses as much as possible. The man who helped us was extremely rude and acted as though he was better than everyone else. We decided not to purchase our supplies at this store and drove an hour to Sedalia Lowe’s. That day, we were speaking with our neighbor, who also built his own waterfront home, regarding our experience with this man. We found out that the man behind the counter is married to the owners daughter and he treats everyone like that. Our neighbor said he was treated the same way and took his business elsewhere as well. If the owner of Eichler Lumber sees this review... please know that your son-in-law has cost you at least 250,000.00 in sales between our neighbor and ourselves in building supplies. I’m guessing he is also rude to other customers as well. I would suggest putting him in the back where he doesn’t belittle customers if he needs the job that bad. Good luck

My husband and I stopped in to look for furniture on a Saturday afternoon (about 40 minutes before closing time). We proceeded through the furniture, noticed what we assumed was a salesman standing by a desk looking at us. We said “Hi”. He seemed to acknowledge us but just stood there and never spoke again. After a few minutes he sat back down. As we inspected furniture right in front of him he completely ignored us and then he got up and left the showroom and never came back. In all we were there about 30 minutes or less. Rudest salesperson EVER! Definitely will not be patronizing this establishment for anything in the future.

Two days in a row, Eichler hit home runs. Yesterday at the checkout an item rang up for more than was listed on the box. The clerk, without my prompting, asked the manager if she could reduce it to the price on the box. Saved me 10 without hesitation! Today was the real winner. Fixing a septic line. The manager stopped what he was doing and asked me if I needed help. I said, \Probably\. He then spent 20 minutes with me and even went out to my truck to look at the old configuration to make sure we got a match for all the connections. I got home, and everything fit PERFECTLY! One trip! That never ever happens with plumbing! Thanks for all your help. I'll be back soon for my next project!
