This place is the real deal. Go check it out! Pandemic: They are open. Options are open air tables bookmarked with heaters, or tables in tents. Everyone knows this spot is magic so make a reservation to secure your spot. Food: Everyone I went with ordered off the signature menu, and it was all spectacular. At our table we had meatloaf, chicken and waffles and chicken pot pie and there was not a dish I would not have been satisfied ordering. Service: Perfect.

Farm to table meals are their specialty and Founding Farmers never disappoints. Their food options can match anybody's cravings and it is always delicious. From the appetizers to their dinners and desserts, there is always something for everyone. The staff is super informative on the drink specialties as well as the dishes themselves, and they always have a pleasant demeanor. I make sure I always bring any guests visiting DC to this restaurant, as I have never been disappointed. 6 should be an option for them.
Nice atmosphere. Seated fairly quickly considering the stream of people coming in. Order taken in a reasonable amount of time. The waitress asked me if i minded mushrooms in my meatloaf. I didn't realize that was a warning instead of a casual question. The mac and cheese was great. The waffles were great. The cinnamon syrup was awesome. The chicken need not have skin and bones. The meatloaf need not have mushrooms.
I literally cannot recommend Founding Father's enough! We came here this morning for breakfast and had such a fabulous time and enjoyed every single thing that we ate so much that we decided to come back for happy hour, the same day! happy hour here is absolutely phenomenal, 5 drinks and very inexpensive appetizer type foods, their 2 baby Burger is just to die for! and their wings are perfection, they bake them before they fry them so they are so juicy on the inside! Please do yourself a favor and come here, you will not be disappointed :-)
The staff was very friendly and the food was really good. A great choice for those who are trying to eat healthy. The food came out quickly and they handled social distancing well. I will definitely be back!
