I live in Greenville this has been my second visit to the Hallmark store here in Washington. The first time I purchased two pieces of jewelry both pieces were broken when I got back to Greenville not to mention feeling followed as if I were doing something wrong. And again today A year later I go into the Hallmark store looking for a gift. I must say I felt very uncomfortable and I suppose it's an honour but the gentleman followed me all around the store as if I were a thief. I'm not really sure what it says special in there everything is way overpriced and they really don't have a lot of selection at least not nearly as much as they did last year. Again I will never go in to the store or recommend it to anyone just because of how I felt!

Wayne, the NEW store manager has always been helpful! When I looked for a charm, he didn't believe he had one. But the customer service Wayne provides is outstanding - he went & double checked to be sure there wasn't any. Sure enough, he did have another one and the person who received the charm was soooooo appreciate of her gifts! That's the difference of before Wayne and now!

I've been a customer service manager for over 14 years. I have also been shopping at this Washington location for longer than that. About a perfume from there less than 30 days ago. Obviously a tester on the shelf is not going to tell you how a perfume is going to react with each individual's pheromones. Nevertheless, I tried to return it today because I just was not satisfied and the amount of money spent does not come by easy. Because I did not have the box with the perfume, and because they could not "resell it to make money back from it," they would not return my product. This is tacky and distasteful. If you cannot display better customer service than this, you need to stop selling products that your customers are not allowed to return due to unsatisfactory. It should absolutely have not mattered that I had the box or not. Then the lady says, "this is why we have testers!!" "Are you seriously saying this," I thought. Extremely poor customer service that needs attention and I will no longer be shopping here nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. If I could have giving it zero stars I would!!!
