I had the ham sandwich on croissant and it was to die for!!!! It was the best ham sandwich I've ever had in my life. No joke. My friends also enjoyed their burgers. I knocked a star for being so pricey, and they took a long time. But I'd go back just to get a ham sandwich. Gosh it was so good. The mustard they used..... I can't even explain it.
Brunch was decent. Service was fine. Price was on-par with quality. Interior was pretty neat. That being said, no one could remember what they ate an hour after we left.
Rural Society is one of the nicest places I've ever been to for brunch in DC. The interior decorating in this place gets an A for originality - I promise you've never seen anything like it. The food was quite good as well; had some yummy crepes (raspberry, I believe), and a "traditional" breakfast with eggs, bacon and toast (maybe something else? it's been a while...). Overall, I would love to come back here for brunch sometime to try out some new things on their menu.
Great atmosphere. The wait staff was incredibly helpful and hilarious. They recommended a few things we wouldn't necessarily have picked, but they were awesome. The empanadas are incredible, and all the entrees were cooked to perfection.
Some of the best food and service in the area! Their steaks are delicious! The wine selection is great, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Highly recommended.
It's easy to forget this is a hotel restaurant. The atmosphere is great for brunch or dinner. Fun place to bring out of town guests for a spot in the private booths.
I came in for brunch the other day and enjoyed my time. I had the brunch special which was a good deal for food but not mixed drinks. I had the eggs with steak and the smoked salmon as my appetizer. I was completely full by the end of the meal. The bread basket is nice, make sure to have the dulce de leches as that was the best part of the bread basket. The steak and eggs is a must! The Bloody Mary was average, I wish it had more of a kick to it. Nice experience overall.
