Visited today for both dine in and take out meals. Early afternoon dine-in tapas were fantastic, evening takeout tapas were just as good if not even better! Attention to detail by the staff and wine recommendations were top-notch! I'll be frequenting them every time I'm back in DC.

Above and beyond!! We celebrated my sister’s birthday at the taberna last night and everything went perfect. They were so kind when we asked if service dogs were allowed, they let us in with not a problem. The food was beyond expectations the paella was probably one of the best ones I’ve had, the staff was so professional and just the vibe of the restaurant was so authentic!! It was like going back in time to my family in Sevilla. Thank you so much for a great experience and food. Keep up the great work!

If you want class...wonderful food and want to feel like your stepping back in time or want to feel like your in a movie...THEN COME HERE AND ENJOY!!. We had many items but if you want the best mussels in the world and the best old fashioned Spanish bread oh, you will not regret it. Impeccable service ask for Antonio!! Cant stress the service enough. This is what fine dining used to be like. Came here for lunch came back the same day for dinner. Wished I lived in Washington would be one of my favorites!!

This restaurant has a lot going for it. It’s location, which is close the White House; and it’s interior, which is sparkling red like you might find in a historic castle. However, I did not leave elated. I ordered the lunch menu for 30 which included a salad, main course and dessert. The special lunch is a good value when you compare to menu items individually. Thumbs up to the warm bread and salad. The pork skewers and the flan dessert not so much. All items were presented well and the dessert was too pretty to consume. However, the pork was tough even to cut and it was drizzled with a less than inspiring gravy. For such an upscale restaurant, I left feeling like it was not worth the cost.
