One of the best hip hop museums that you can find. The best collection of Hip Hop memorabilia that I've seen.

I was so excited to take my kids to this museum for our scheduled tour. We all love music in my hose a lot, so I felt this expirence would be educational as well as fun. Boy was I wrong. Let's start with the fact that when we got to the building it was trash all outside of the establishment ( like no one ever cleanse the joint) when we get inside there was no one to greet us so we went to the wrong floor and was greeted by some customers that told me I can get a free pre-roll if I tagged the store in a post (nevermind the fact I had children with me ) . Once we were redirected to the right place the museum was the size of my bedroom. We literally walking in circles looking at the plaques on the wall (the guy only took five mins showing us the items). After that he left us to the "interactive" portion of the tour which was literally us scanning a code beside each plaque ro pull up a YouTube video. So I way to the tour guy, I was hoping that my kids were able to see what a live studio looks like. Just look at it. He tells me that they have a studio on site but I would have to buy studio time in order for my kids to look at the studio. I mean I just spent 135 to walk in a circl three time and watch the disappointment on my kids faces. I do not recommend, I want a refund, and I felt taken advantage of. You have been warned ️

AMAZING!!!! It’s been compacted due to COVID, but the tour guide was super knowledgeable and the artifacts here were engaging. WELL WORTH it!!!

This was great! We took our kids and all of us enjoyed it. My husband and I loved reminiscing and sharing our memories with the kids. What was even better was them showing us what they knew about old school and new school hip hop. Feels good being able to share our love for music with them. Music still connects us to our past and future. Only wish it was permanent and maybe bigger. Hip-hop is bigger than all of us.
