We had an old paver sidewalk that were improperly pitched and accumulated water. Arnold's replaced our sidewalk and properly pitched it with quality products and workmanship. They were meticulous with attention to detail. The owner was very knowledgeable, professional and personable. Thank you Arnold's. We are thrilled with our new sidewalk!! After reading many positive reviews for Arnold’s Masonry, we hired them to repair a damaged step and install a railing. Despite this being what would likely be considered a smaller job for them, they were willing to travel a distance to our location. I found Arnold to be very responsive throughout the process answering any questions and concerns that we had along the way as he worked with us to accommodate our rushed timeline. For safety reasons, this repair was an absolute necessity for us and that it be done well by someone with knowledge and experience and we were not disappointed. He was professional, punctual and thorough. Would definitely recommend. Was a pleasure to work with them.

Arnold and his dad were wonderful: honest, genuine, and reasonable. I was quoted for double what Arnold quoted to do some repair work on my house’s foundation. In fact, Arnold told me some of what the other contractor proposed was unnecessary. He said “I’d rather have your trust than sell you on something you don’t need.” Great workmanship, and his father, who assists side by side him, is also wonderful. Solid, human contractors, which is so often missing these days. I will be calling Arnold back this spring to do some work on my fireplace.

We had Arnold and his team repoint the mortar in the stone foundation of our old (around 200 years) house. They did a wonderful job and it looks fantastic. I appreciated that he gave me an accurate quote just from photos I sent him, was willing to travel the 2.5 hrs from Waterbury to where we are in Albany county, and made sure the type of mortar he mixed was appropriate for our old foundation. They worked quickly and were very personable. We look forward to having him back during the winter to fix the inside!

Excellent quality and professional attitude, and a personable family man to boot. We had Arnold replace our old falling-apart brick patio with paver stones and the results were fantastic. He had a handful of questions along the way as he came across minor issues (how the last row of blocks would lay out, things like that), and was attentive and careful around a shallow electrical conduit underneath the patio. Highly recommended.
