I had Oak Electric install a whole-house generator for me a few years ago. They now come to do the annual maintenance for me. My initial experience and subsequent encounters have all been positive. They show up as scheduled and perform all requested services. The employees are knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly, including office staff. My latest technician, Kyle Lueschen, far exceeded my expectations. He genuinely cared that my generator is working properly since I am widowed. He took great care on my property and discussed all work with me. Then he actually helped me finish shoveling the snow from my driveway!! That's what I call going above and beyond. An A experience. From the start, Ryan came out to quote our generator replacement. He was personable and professional. The communication from the office regarding scheduling was fantastic. The installation team of Brad, Ian and Jackson were excellent! Took such precaution when shutting our power off to ensure our sump pump remained functional. They were all so polite and trustworthy. All of the guys cleaned up and made sure everything was functional before they left. Can’t speak highly enough about them! Thank you to everyone who helped us sleep easier moving forward!!
I had scheduled my first yearly automatics back-up generator maintenance appointment last December but had to re-schedule due to a COVID concern. The last minute rescheduling was easy. Yesterday, Kyle, Oak's technician completed the service promptly and efficiently. Kyle explained (while I watched) the system maintenance process and answered my system operation/controls questions which was greatly appreciated. Additionally, it really showed me how much he knew about the product.
5 star job. Hired many bad contractors in my life and a few great ones and Oak is at top of list. If you are installing a generator hire a specialist and that is Oak. The 3-man crew was Bard and Travis and Dom and they were just fantastic. Efficient and skilled and timely and communicated with me very well. Crew leader Brad was very detail oriented. I can say a 5 out of 5 star review for sure. Hire them!
