I hate the fact the whoever answers the phone, treats me like I am just another number in line and then transfer me over to another case-worker who has my case . The fact this place is able to remove your insurance from you all because you are unable to find the non-custodial parent, is beyond me. They need to work harder in helping us search for the non-custodial parents and bring them to justice. Yes, I understand the guy that I have had children for is a deadbeat. However, that is not my fault. This place also needs to do better. Lethargic and helpless! If I can make him pay child support, I wouldn't be in this pickle at all. However, it is unfortunate that I have to deal with these children at this office!

I have had good experiences with iowa c.s.r.u after the absent parent decided to pay support. But no luck getting him to pay. lol I was living in Iowa for 8 years and they kept telling me to go through another state. Then the father contacted me stating he had been paying support for months. No one contacted me by phone or mail. Now the worker is eager to help and very informative. But only if I contact them. Now his tax return was taken for past due back support by Waterloo weeks ago. Where is my money? Any back payment should of been deposited into my account. The federal return was paid, so why have you not giving me my money? The state never helped me with any money. Why the hold up?

My personal case worker is a rockstar. She has really gone above & beyond to help. I would rate 5 stars but the lady that answers the phone is so unnecessarily rude. She was constantly interrupting me & talking to me in a derogatory fashion without even knowing much about my case. What a shame to have someone like that working there & treating people in such a manner.
