Wauconda Rodeo is an annual event I never miss. It is always lively, friendly and exciting. The events are thrilling to watch and timed well inbetween each other. There are a few local food vendors to try, a good live band every year and a handful of souvenir hawkers. They used to have some incredible craftspeople who sold western styled goods like silver based jewelry and good western hats but they have been replaced by some pretty average vendors. I wish they still had the lady silversmith there as I looked forward to buying something from her each summer. Well worth going as these areot exciting and fun events to watch and certainly not your average Saturday night out!
Was a fun time. Not expensive and staff very helpful and friendly!
It's just a small Rodeo but it was real and for the participants it was somewhat dangerous which made it more exciting. I would go again next year.
