Our loved one passed while she was in McAllen- 800 miles away from her home. We had no idea where to even begin with what to do. Carla handled absolutely everything. She went above and beyond to ensure that everything was handled quickly and appropriately. I don't know what we would have done without her help. We are eternally grateful for everything McCaleb did to help us. You all are such wonderful people. Thank you.

I researched all the local funeral homes in the surrounding area (RGV). Hands down, McCaleb Funeral home offered the the BEST service along with providing BEST pricing. Mark and Carla are the quintessential funeral experts. Also, they are the most knowledgeable pertaining to the covid-19 funeral fund which assist families in Hidalgo county. I pre-screened via phone calls many funeral directors in the area during my research, and NO ONE came close to Carla's knowledge and expertise. After meeting with Mark and Carla in person to discuss final arrangements, I was grateful for their caring nature and willingness to serve our needs. Although my family decided to move forward with a simple \Life Celebration\ package, the response from our visitors was amazing. Everyone who attended my father's visitation appreciated the beautiful heart warming décor and tribute. They have a GREAT staff available for additional IT support. Horace and John certainly contribute to the success of this family owned funeral home. In closing, McCaleb Funeral Home demonstrates a commitment to excellence.
