Stayed for the Mississippi Blues Half Marathon and this was close to the start/finish line. Hotel had easy check in process and helpful staff. Valet was 20 a night. Hotel room was well lit and had exceedingly comfortable bed. One issue was instead of a fridge which is more and more becoming common, they had a mini bar. IMO, this isn’t a helpful amenity and often the items are absurdly priced. I would much rather have a fridge. The bathroom was nice with a good shower. Check out was at noon. Hotel location was well located to get to the Art Museum and the state capitol. I did walk to a restaurant at night and was a little worried about that, there wasn’t a ton close by and the one I chose (Iron Horse Grill) was a little bit of a sketchy walk.
