Nice nostalgic cafe. Good food, great atmosphere and very friendly wait staff. When in town, I visit several times a week. Highly recommend for good family run diner.

Best breakfast spot on the Westbank! This is my new \go to\ place for breakfast. Staff is attentive, friendly, and and competent. Food is well prepared and delicious. Prices are unbelievably inexpensive. Lunch menu looks promising as well.

Ordered the half fried chicken mixed and it had NO seasoning on it. I actually had to put toneys on it to make it have SOME sort of flavor. Just got done working 16hrs and I wasn’t about to call to get something new. Husband had the hamburger steak with potato salad and same thing. Food is suitable for people on super restrictive diets.

Food was not that great. Only get one coffee refill (WITH a meal order). Otherwise, a charge per cup! And a small size cup at that

Fantastic Louisiana cuisine and hospitality. I had a PoBoy and the guy I was with had Cajun Potatoes I think it was called. It's potatoes and shrimp with au gratin sauce. I was jealous of his order and mine was great. The food is enough to go for, but the ladies working the lunch shift were exactly the people I talk about when I talk about visiting south Louisiana. The nicest people you can imagine, and immediately made us feel like we were regulars despite being our first visit.
